Gold is an award-winning fine sparkling wine made in the style of Champagne's traditional method using a blend of three grape varieties: Generosa, Ezerjó, and Riesling, to create a poised and original bubbly.
Straw colour and a persistent fine mousse. Restrained, elegant nose with a hint of quince and lees notes. A refreshing, lively acidity creates a firm sense of structure on the fully-dry palate—a delicate, clean and bright drink with a touch of lemon and green apple.
Serve it as an aperitif at celebrations and dinner parties, or try it with seafood dishesor a herb risotto.

Meet the Winemaker
Frittmann Winery, Kunság
The multi-generational Frittmann winery is run by brothers János and István, who carry on the family winemaking tradition in the Great Plain in southern Hungary. They have achieved the two most prestigious national wine recognitions, becoming Winemaker of the Year in 2007 and Winery of the Year in 2015. They work with grapes from the highest-quality native varieties to prove that the Kunság region can create remarkable, age-worthy wines, an approach vindicated by their serial successes in international competitions.
