Tokaji Dry Szamorodni is a unique and intriguing Hungarian white wine, crafted in a style once popular in the Tokaj region but now a rarity.

This Dry Szamorodni is made from hand-picked grape clusters comprising both whole and botrytised berries. The wine undergoes traditional fermentation under a thin veil of yeast, reaching near-complete dryness, and is then aged expertly through oxidative methods.

The result is a remarkable complexity that combines the distinctive botrytis character with the minerality of furmint, the rich honeyed floral notes of hárslevelű grapes. The oxidative ageing contributes nutty flavours reminiscent of Fino or Barbadillo Sherry. On the palate, you will find great depth, with ripe dried-fruit flavours complemented by subtle oak and vanilla notes from the barrel spices.
