At Best of Hungary, we pride ourselves on our customer service and strive to offer you a first-class delivery experience. We always aim to deliver your order speedily and in perfect condition so you can enjoy your Hungarian goodies in the comfort of your home.

What are your Delivery Costs?
We offer free UK standard delivery to all orders over £60.

Standard Delivery (2-4 Business Days)
The cost of Standard Delivery for orders under £60 is £2.95.

Express Delivery (1-2 Business Days)
Express Delivery costs £5.95. We use Royal Mail Tracked 24, which will take one to two days.

*Please note that due to Brexit, we can no longer ship to the Channel Islands and do not ship outside the United Kingdom.

Do you have any discount codes or vouchers?
We believe in offering the best possible prices to all of our customers all year round, therefore we do not have any discount codes.

When will my order be processed and shipped?
We always aim to process and ship your order as soon as possible. When your order arrives will depend on when you place your order and the delivery option you choose at Checkout.

Express Delivery (1-2 Business Days)
If you need your order quickly, we recommend you use our Express Delivery service. If you order by noon, your order will be dispatched on the same working day.

Standard Delivery (2-4 Business Days)
Your order will be dispatched using Royal Mail within 1-2 working days.

How will you pack my order?
If your order contains chilled products, it will be packed using refrigerated cold packs in thermal insulated packaging, which maintains suitable transit conditions for 48-72 hours.
Depending on the size of your order and choice of products, there may be occasions when we need to ship your order as two or more separate parcels, which may arrive at different times.

Will you let me know when my order has been sent?

You will receive a confirmation email once we have shipped your order, including tracking information. If you also wish to be notified by text about the status of your delivery, please include your mobile phone number at Checkout. 

Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that you are available to receive your order on the delivery date that is sent to you. If you are expecting perishable items, we strongly advise that you track your order regularly to know when it is due.

If your order is a gift, it is your responsibility to notify the recipient of the order’s arrival time.

Please note we cannot take responsibility for any perishable items that have been left to deteriorate for any length of time due to the absence of the addressee. We also cannot take responsibility for any orders that our delivery partners return due to the absence of the addressee. In these circumstances, no refund will be offered.

My order contains alcohol, are there any restrictions?

We only sell alcohol to those who are aged 18 and over. By placing an order with us, you confirm that you are of legal age. It is illegal to buy alcohol if you are underage or for someone else who is under the age of 18.

What if my order arrives and something is damaged?

In the unlikely event that any of your products arrive damaged, please contact us by email at with an image of the damaged product and your Order Number. We will offer to re-send the affected item or a refund, with the funds deposited back onto the card used to place the order within 3-5 business days. 

While we always try our very best to achieve our stated delivery times, things may occasionally go wrong. Please note we cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control, including, but not limited to, adverse weather conditions and delivery partner difficulties.

Please note that deliveries may take longer than usual during busy periods such as the run-up to Christmas. If problems arise, please bear with us as we try to resolve any unforeseen issues.

We cannot accept any liability for any consequential loss, damage or expense caused by a failure in our service. This includes the cost of purchases made to replace an order that fails to arrive.

Environmentally Friendly Packaging & Delivery

We source our supplies from Kite Packaging, the UK’s leading, employee-owned packaging supplier. We pack each item by hand, using a combination of paper bubble wrap and inflatable bottle protectors. We use recyclable void-fill packaging and recyclable cardboard boxes containing recycled content, or we reuse the cardboard boxes sent to us by our suppliers to reduce our carbon footprint. Every packing material, except for the cool packs and the thermal insulated packaging, is recyclable. 

We use Royal Mail for deliveries, consistently ranked as one of the most carbon-conscious couriers, with some of the lowest carbon footprints per package delivered.
