This bright white wine showcases an alluring bouquet of elderflower, citrus blossom, and subtle spicy undertones. On the palate, it offers zesty flavors of ripe pear and lemon, complemented by green herbal notes. A hint of bubbles adds charm, creating a delightful introduction to Hungarian white wines for enthusiasts.

What is Cserszegi Fűszeres?

It is one of Hungary’s most distinctive aromatic white wine varieties, celebrated for its intensely perfumed character and vibrant freshness. Developed in 1960 by crossing Irsai Olivér with Gewürztraminer, the grape is named after the village of Cserszeg in western Hungary, where it was first cultivated.

Its hardy nature and resistance to frost allow it to be widely planted across the country, producing expressive wines with a playful aromatic profile that appeals to lovers of Muscat.
