GRÓF DEGENFELD Tokaji Furmint 2022
Couldn't load pickup availability
This refreshing Tokaji dry white wine has a typical Furmint nose, with zesty aromas of green fruits, especially apples, wet stones, and a touch of lemon. The apple notes reverberate across the medium-long sip, and lively citrus fruits and a flinty minerality round them out. This finely poised vintage with crisp acidity makes for a rewarding food pairing.
Food Pairing
Furmint's acidity makes it a great accompaniment to poultry, seafood and risotto. It also goes well with hard cheese like an aromatic herb cheese, or serve it alongside a charcuterie board.

Meet the Winemaker
Gróf Degenfeld Winery, Tokaj - Protected Designation of Origin (PDO)
In 1994 the Count Degenfeld family successfully revived its wine estate in the heart of the Tokaj wine region, ensuring that over 150-year-old tradition lives on with the latest generation. Winemaking was closely intertwined with the family’s deep love and respect for nature; therefore, they have cultivated their vineyards organically since 2009. The family only work with native grapes best suited to the unique micro-climate, creating a range of single varietal wines with award-winning credentials. The bunches are hand-harvested and carefully vinified with minimal intervention. As a result, you are tasting an authentic drop of the volcanic Tokaj terroir with every sip you take.
