GRAND TOKAJ Tokaji Eszencia 2013

£195.00

Tokaji Eszencia reveals the beauty and complexity of the wine region in all its glory. 2013 was an excellent vintage with top quality, fully botrytised grapes, which were collected by hand, and the free-run juice of the aszú grapes was turned into this liquid gold nectar.

It is amber-golden yellow, with a deep aroma of vibrant botrytis notes. A smooth, oily texture carries an intense flavour of tropical fruits and honeyed notes, which are underpinned by the ever-present botrytis character. The volcanic soil's lively acidity keeps the wine in perfect harmony, making this a special wine for true connoisseurs.
