The most well-known Hungarian red wine is Bikavér, or Bull's Blood. This special blend is unique to the Eger and Szekszárd regions of Hungary. Egri Bikavér reflects the cool-climate terroir, typically showcasing a rich palate of dark fruit, lively acidity, and a tight tannic structure.
