Costa Rican Coffee

What is Costa Rican Coffee?

Costa Rican coffee is globally recognised for its exceptional quality. Its unique character is derived from being grown at high altitudes in the lush volcanic highlands around Alajuela, Naranjo, and Lourdes.

The coffee cherries are cultivated at 1,550 meters above sea level. The fertile volcanic soil, cool mountain climate, and consistent rainfall contribute to their gradual maturation, creating a concentrated flavour profile.

What does it taste like?

Our Costa Rican coffee is made with roasted Arabica beans, which deliver a rich aroma and a characteristically intense flavour, resulting in a smooth, balanced cup with a full body and spicy notes, accompanied by hints of cocoa.

This versatile choice delivers consistently excellent results and is perfect for enjoying as a neat espresso or for preparing your favourite coffee-based drink.

Sustainable Choice

Finca Banyai is a micro plantation located in Costa Rica’s coffee-growing highlands. It is operated by a dedicated team of Hungarian scientists and conservation experts, supported by locals with decades of experience.

The beans are hand-picked in complete harmony with nature, ensuring that only ripe fruit is selected. They are then gently washed and expertly roasted in small batches using traditional methods, allowing their authentic flavour to shine. This guarantees an artisan bean-to-cup experience, making it a favourite among coffee lovers and connoisseurs who appreciate quality with every sip.
