What is a low sugar jam?
Our premium fruit preserves contain significantly less added sugar compared to conventional jams. While typical store-bought jams often have equal parts fruit and sugar—or even less fruit—our traditional jams use 25-100% less sugar. This allows the fruit's natural sweetness and flavour to shine through.
With a simple and easily recognisable ingredient list that includes only fruit, sugar, and pectin for natural thickening, these gourmet treats are perfect for enjoying a healthy indulgence with a clean conscience.
How are our low sugar jams made?
The finest fresh produce is harvested from the bountiful orchards of Breier Farm, located in the scenic countryside near the River Danube. The fruit is slowly simmered at low heat with minimal added sugar, following a traditional recipe, just as our grandmothers did.
Each jar contains at least 75% fresh fruit, while our no-added-sugar plum jam is made with 100% fruit. The jams are naturally thickened with fruit pectin and are free of concentrates, sweeteners, and artificial nasties like additives, flavours, and preservatives.
Is jam healthy?
Yes, jams can be a healthy and versatile addition to a balanced diet. You can enjoy our fruit jams as a spread on breakfast toast, mix them into Greek yoghurt and porridge, serve them on top of waffles, or use them as a filling for pancakes and cakes.
