A single-vineyard Egri Bikavér Superior from the award-winning St Andrea winery's Hangács cru, this full-bodied Bull's Blood is a superb red blend.

It is a deep, ruby colour, with a complex nose of red and black cherries and supporting chocolate and coffee oak notes. The wonderfully soft and concentrated palate shows fresh fruit, gentle spice and toastiness from the barrel ageing. A poised vintage with a firm acidic backbone and ripe tannins, this beautiful wine is perfect for drinking now and has excellent ageing potential.


Food Pairing

An ideal wine for steak tartare, grills and semi-hard cheese like Baracskai. Try with a rich mushroom dish or a spicy Moroccan stew.
