How to Cook White Rice?
- Rinse 75g of rice per person in cold, running water.
- Place in a saucepan with 175ml of water per portion, then bring to a boil, cover and simmer gently for 10-12 minutes or until the rice is tender.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
For the most consistent results, you can also prepare it in a rice cooker.
Pro Tip: For extra flavour, cook with stock or coconut milk, or steam with herbs and spices for a fragrant twist.
