VIDA Petit Bonsai Kadarka 2024

Petit Bonsai Kadarka is a lively and vibrant successor to the iconic Bonsai Kadarka by Vida Peter, offering a fresh interpretation of this classic wine.

This worthy sequel utilises hand-selected grape bunches harvested from clonal selections of the estate’s famous 100+ year-old Bonsai Kadarka vines.

The wine features a clear purple hue and a rich aroma of fresh strawberries, raspberries, and black cherries, which also come through in the flavour. The palate is further enhanced by a touch of pepper and a hint of fresh mint. Despite the vines being over 10 years old, the wine remains youthful and easy to drink, making it an excellent introduction to this native grape.

Kadarka is a versatile choice that pairs well with grilled meats and vegetable stews, such as ratatouille and shakshuka. For the best experience, serve it lightly chilled.
