Tejberizs - Traditional Rice Pudding
Tejberizs is a traditional Hungarian rice pudding. Serve this delicious treat with a handful of fresh berries and topped with a dollop of indulgent jam.
- Rinse the rice then place in a pan with the water and bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat.
- Once the rice has absorbed all the liquid, add the milk, butter, sugar and vanillin sugar (you can substitute this with vanilla extract).
- Cook until the milk is absorbed, stirring regularly to avoid the rice sticking to the bottom of the pan.
- Serve drizzled with cinnamon powder, a dollop of jam and a handful of fresh berries.
