Beer marinade recipe for cooking deliciously tender grilled pork chops. The marinated pork steaks are infused with an intense flavour and a touch of heat. Perfect with a leafy salad for a light summer dish, or serve it on a bed of cooked millet grain with mixed vegetable pickles for a filling meal.

Wash and pat dry the pork chops with kitchen towels. Slice the bacon into thin strips and use it to interlard the meat.
Rub the paprika cream and marjoram into the steaks, then place them in a bowl and pour the beer over them so the meat is fully covered. Add the bay leaf and the sliced onions to the marinade, then place it in the fridge and let it rest overnight.
Remove the steak slices from the fridge. Lightly oil them, then cook them over a BBQ or bake them in the oven on a grill rack until lightly charred on the outside.
