Beer-Marinated Pork Chops
Deliciously succulent pork chops, marinated for maximum tenderness. The meat is infused with flavour and a touch of heat, perfect with a leafy green salad. You can also serve it over a bed of egg noodles and stir-fried vegetables for comfort food paradise.
Wash and pat dry the pork chops with kitchen towels. Slice the bacon into thin strips and use it to interlard the meat.
Rub the paprika cream and the marjoram into the steaks, then place in a bowl and pour the beer over it so that the meat is fully covered. Add the bay leaf and the sliced onions to the marinade, then place in the fridge and let it rest overnight.
Remove from the fridge. Lightly oil the slices then cook over a BBQ or bake in the oven on a grill rack until lightly charred on the outside.
