Tokaji Eszencia is traditionally made using only the free-run juice of individually selected, hand-picked botrytised berries. Eszencia is known to be the best portrayer of terroir, this nectar of unparalleled complexity is a true gem for wine lovers. 

Intense, concentrated flavour profile with a creamy, mouth-filling character, an explosion of fruit and honeyed notes and a racy acidity that keeps the balance finely poised. There is a rich minerality to the wine, indicative of the volcanic terroir of Tokaj and the finish will last with you well over a minute. The wine is still very young and will continue to develop for as long as you can resist drinking.

Tokajicum Winery, Tokaj - Protected Designation of Origin (PDO)

The Tokajicum Winery is situated in the historical wine region of Tokaj, renowned for its white wines, but especially its unique Late Harvest and Aszu dessert wines. The winery cultivates grapes on 20 hectares of prime location land, with vines that are 40 years or older, producing wines of real character with a high mineral content.
