Gyulai kolbász is a traditional pork sausage made in southern Hungary using local ingredients and aromatic Hungarian paprika. The sausage is cold-smoked over fragrant hardwood and then slowly matured until it becomes tender to the bite, bursting with the flavour of the Hungarian countryside.
Over the past 100 years, Gyulai kolbász has garnered international awards and recognition for its unique taste and recipe (Protected Geographical Indication) and has become a firm family favourite along the way.
Gyulai sausage is a delicious as a sandwich topping, while you can also cook with this smoky chorizo. Add it to a traditional bean goulash or slice into potato gratin for extra flavour.
