This distinctive forest-green Christmas bauble is made from blown glass and individually hand-painted with a wintry landscape. Its front features a snowy cottage with warmly coloured windows, a fir tree and a winding gold path, while the reverse shows a silver forest of snow-covered fir trees.
Measuring approximately 10cm in diameter, it has a generous presence on a Christmas tree while still sitting naturally among treasured decorations collected over the years.

Where Does It Come From?
This bauble is made by Szabó Üveg, a family-run glass workshop in Tárnok, near Budapest. The Szabó family founded the business in 1963 and began making glass Christmas decorations around 1970. More than half a century later, the workshop continues to combine traditional equipment, skilled handwork and designs shaped by festive tradition.
Each ornament is hand-blown from glass, silvered internally to create its reflective glow, then coloured and decorated by hand. Small variations in the snowy scenery, brushwork, paint layers and finish are a natural part of the hand-finished process, giving every bauble its own character.

Care
For indoor decorative use. Handle with care and keep away from damp areas, direct sunlight and strong heat sources. The textured snow detailing is hand-applied directly to the glass using heat-set relief paint, not loose glitter. Ordinary Christmas tree lights are suitable, but avoid placing the bauble close to hot bulbs or heaters.
