Tócsni - Hungarian Potato Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 800g potatoes

  • 2 eggs

  • 6 tbsp flour

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed

  • salt

  • sunflower oil

Directions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes, then grate them and thoroughly squeeze out any juice.

  2. Add the egg, salt, pepper, garlic, flour, and cornstarch and mix.

  3. Line the basket of the air fryer with baking paper, spray it with oil, and set it to make potato fries (it depends on the machine, usually 15-20 minutes at around 200 degrees).

  4. Spoon some potato mixture into the lined basket, forming little pancakes. Spray them with oil and cook until the machine indicates it is ready. Do not place them too close together, and check a few minutes before the end to ensure the potato pancakes are not getting burnt.
