What is Costa Rican Coffee?
Costa Rican coffee is world-renowned for its exceptional quality, and its unique character comes from being grown at high altitudes in the country’s fertile volcanic soils around Alajuela, Naranjo and Lourdes.
The beans are cultivated at 1,550 meters above sea level, and the cool mountain climate and consistent rainfall allow them to gradually mature with a concentrated flavour profile.
The beans are hand-picked in complete harmony with nature, ensuring that only ripe ones are selected. They are then gently washed and expertly roasted in small batches using a time-honoured technique, allowing their authentic flavour to shine.
