A meaty rosé, rich & distinctive with a creamy texture. An intriguing choice for rosé-sceptics & red wine lovers alike.
A deep dark pink colour with an intense aroma of sweet spices, strawberries and juicy redcurrants; a touch of herbs. The palate is creamy with well-integrated alcohol and sweet candy and peach flavours. A well-made and balanced wine with fine acidity, allowing the sweet spices and fruit to shine.
Thanks to its fruitiness, this wine will be a great accompaniment to roast duck with plum sauce or pasta dishes, especially those with tomato-based sauces. For a match made in heaven, try with an indulgent black forest gateau and experience a delightful warmth and a perfect harmony of flavours.

Meet the Winemaker
Vesztergombi Winery, Szekszárd - Protected Designation of Origin (PDO)
The Vesztergombi family looks back on a centuries-old tradition of winemaking in the region around Szekszárd in southern Hungary, where the River Danube meanders between rolling hills and fertile valleys. This scenic setting provides the perfect conditions for growing red grapes with character. The Vesztergombi winery was re-established in 1991, resurrecting the long-held family tradition, and founder Ferenc Vesztergombi was awarded the prestigious “Winemaker of the Year” title in Hungary in 1993. Today, with three generations working together, the winery continues to produce award-winning red wines that authentically reflect the unique terroir of the Szekszárd region.
