BOLYKI Egri Bikavér 'Bull's Blood' 2020
A classic Egri Bikavér this award-winning vintage showcases an approachable side of this legendary wine. Rich, chewy palate with intense black pepper spice, followed by dark cherry and blackcurrant notes and a touch of vanilla. Lively acidity, tight tannic structure, and long mineral finish.
This Egri Csillag is a refreshing and joyful blend. A highly-drinkable choice perfect for long summer evenings, it is made by combining native Hungarian varieties with Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling.
Kékfrankos is one of Hungary's principal red grape varieties, and this award-winning vineyard selection is a dynamic powerhouse of a wine. Red and black fruits on the palate, especially blackcurrant, accompanied by fragrant, floral notes of violets and lavender.
Less sweetness and more content are apt to describe this refreshing rosé. It is made from the traditional Kékfrankos (Blaufränkisch) grape. There is more extraction here than in a light rosé, but it works well in this balanced, fully dry wine.
*Please note that if any of the above wines are not available on the day of despatch, then we will substitute it with another similar wine.
