Intensely concentrated, rich wine with a deep ruby colour. Inviting, spicy nose shows a core of dark stewed fruit and a hint of scrumptious chocolate. Spicy, toasty flavours come forth on a rich, chewy palate, followed by fruity notes of black cherries and currants. Toasty, mineral finish. This velvety red has lively acidity and a tight tannic structure creating an excellent balance and a serious punch.

Food pairing recommendation: A great accompaniment to rich meat dishes such as game stews or lamb chops. Try with a spicy vegetable casserole or pair with aged hard cheese such as Grana Padano or Parmesan.
