Tokaji Sárgamuskotály is an elegant late harvest sweet wine. Presented in a stylish gift wrap, this luscious Hungarian dessert wine is an excellent present.
Sárgamuskotály's tantalising aroma shines through with an intensely rich nose of honey, apricot, and mango. The juicy palate is resplendent with flavours of caramel, ginger and refreshing citrus fruit. It is a well-rounded wine of real Tokaj character, while its light body and beautifully balanced sweetness make it a highly drinkable choice.
What is a Tokaji Late Harvest?
Tokaji Late Harvest wines offer an approachable sweetness in a contemporary expression of Hungary's legendary Tokaj wine region that appeals to both wine enthusiasts and casual drinkers alike.
Made from Sárgamuskotály, the noblest member of the muscatel family, this native grape is ideally suited to producing aromatic late harvest wines due to its natural sweetness. The perfectly ripe bunches are carefully selected and hand-picked, creating a golden wine which is softer and more accessible than its famous cousin, the iconic Tokaji Aszú.
Crafted to be enjoyed young, this fresh and vibrant style highlights the unique volcanic terroir, and Late Harvest Tokaji is an excellent introduction to the region's sweet wines, making it a versatile choice not just for special occasions, or a novelty stocking fillet for Christmas.
Food Pairing
Enjoyed on its own as an elegant aperitif or after-dinner indulgence. The wine's natural sweetness complements the flavours of a chocolate desserts. We also recommend trying it with savoury dishes, such as smoked goose breast fillet, or serving it with blue cheese, including Gorgonzola, Stilton, and Roquefort, for a memorable gourmet experience.
