The premier white wine of the award winning St Andrea winery, this elegant blend of Chardonnay and Furmint is from the Grand Cru terroir of Nagy-Eged Hill.
It opens with an intense aroma of ripe peach, mango and pineapple, followed by tertiary notes from the oak ageing. The limestone sub-soil of Nagy-Eged Hill shines through on the palate, creating a crisp and elegant, mouth-filling wine. The powerful fruit aromas are accompanied by a rich mineral character, ending in a long and complex finish.
Food Pairing
Serve it with fish and seafood dishes or pair it with marinated pork chops or a creamy vegetable casserole. Washed-rind cheese such as Epoisses and Limburger will also be a great match.
