Mangalitza Salami 220g

Mangalitza salami is full of rich pork character and an intensely meaty flavour. This artisan charcuterie is made in small batches from free-range fresh mangalitza meat combined with pepper, nutmeg and allspice, creating a memorable gourmet experience.

The salami is delicious on its own, in sandwiches, as a pizza topping or sliced into risottos. It makes the perfect centrepiece for charcuterie boards, going especially well with hard cheese, including Cheddar, Parmesan or a Gouda style herb cheese.

Mangalitza meat is naturally rich in Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, minerals and vitamins. Mangalitza pork is also naturally low in cholesterol, making it a healthy choice with potential heart-protective properties.

Comments from the Great Taste Judges:

"A bold gamey aroma, deep and tangy. This clearly artisan cured sausage delivers an appetising aroma and the bite is easy and moist with a wide range of pleasing flavours. Very savoury and meaty with a real belt of flavour. Very satisfying and moreish, hard to stop at one or two slices. We can think of a hundred ways to use this in cooking."
