Order by 2pm Monday for next day delivery.

Bolyki Egri Csillag is the white wine equivalent of the iconic Egri Bikavér, and this refreshing and joyful blend is the perfect choice for summer days.

A bright and enticing floral aroma is rounded out by juicy citrus notes. Lively acidity with a crisp palate of white stone fruits and peach, ending in a chalky, mineral finish expressive of the unique terroir.

What is Egri Csillag?

Egri Csillag is one of Hungary’s most exciting new white wines, hailing from the historic wine region of Eger. Known as the “sister wine” to the famous Bull’s Blood, Egri Csillag was created to showcase the region’s white grape varieties.

Indigenous varieties, such as Királyleányka and Hárslevelű, give the wine its authentic Hungarian character, and these are expertly blended with international grapes, including Sauvignon blanc and Riesling, for a thoroughly modern and cosmopolitan drink.

Food pairing

It makes an excellent accompaniment for fish and seafood dishes, or enjoy this crisp white wine with a meaty gourmet pizza for the perfect sip to refresh your palate. Washed-rind cheese such as Appenzeller, Epoisses and Limburger will also be great matches.
