Mangalitsa sausage, made from free-range mangalitza meat, bacon, and aromatic Hungarian paprika, is a rich smoked pork chorizo with a meaty flavour.
Mangalitsa sausage is delicious on its own, in sandwiches, as a pizza topping, or sliced into risottos and pasta sauces. It also makes the perfect centrepiece for charcuterie boards, going especially well with hard cheeses, such as Cheddar, Parmesan, or Gouda.
The mangalitza sausage is naturally rich in Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, minerals and vitamins. Mangalitza is also naturally low in cholesterol, making it a healthy choice with potential heart-protective properties.

Szomor Farm was established in 1989 in the Kiskunsági National Park, located in the Danube River's former floodplain and what is the second-largest saline steppe of the Hungarian Great Plain. The animals are allowed to roam freely and graze across this special grassland.
