Order by 2pm Tomorrow for next day delivery.

Tokaji Édes Szamorodni is a complex yet easy-drinking sweet wine. This affordable luxury is an excellent introduction to the best of Hungarian dessert wine.

It is a deepening gold colour with an intensely floral aroma and a rich flavour of honey, orange peel, mango, and winter spices with a hint of botrytis. It has a silky smooth texture, and the vibrant acidity of the Furmint grape perfectly balances the natural sweetness of the wine, making this an approachable drink and a versatile choice for food pairing.

What is Tokaji Szamorodni?

Tokaji Sweet Szamorodni is one of Hungary's most popular and treasured dessert wines from the historic Tokaj wine region.

The name Szamorodni has a Polish origin, meaning 'as it grows', since unlike Tokaji Aszú, these wines are made with whole clusters. This style beautifully blends both botrytised and healthy grapes, resulting in great depth and complexity delivered in a refreshing sip.

This traditional late-harvest wine is a welcoming drink reflecting the distinctive character of the unique volcanic Tokaj terroir, ideal if you are looking to try Hungarian sweet wines for the first time, or as a unique gift to wine lovers.

Food Pairing

For a gourmet experience, pair this sweet wine with a luxurious goose liver or a creamy blue cheese for a delightful contrast. For an indulgent sweet treat, try it with cakes, while if you're feeling truly adventurous, then serve it with spicy Asian dishes for a taste of fusion cuisine.
