Mangalitsa ham slices from prime cuts of mangalitza leg meat. The rich marbling gives this gourmet ham a melt-in-mouth texture with an intense smoky aroma. Air-dried and smoked for 18 months, this unique charcuterie is similar Jamon Iberico but with an irresistible mangalitsa twist.
Mangalitsa ham makes a delicious centrepiece for charcuterie boards, while the ham slices also make a great addition to sandwiches or create a gourmet salad with melon.
Mangalitsa meat is naturally rich in Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids and a range of antioxidants, minerals and vitamins.

Comments from the judges: "Lovely dark red meat with the glistening white of the fat, and a deeply smoky aroma with a note of sweet vine fruit on it. All of this translates into the huge flavour burst. Salty goodness, with the fruity meat, savoury earthy notes and then the sweet juicy fat to bring it all together. The depth of the flavour is remarkable this has been prepared with pride and care, and it tastes so all the way through."

Szomor Farm was established in 1989 in the Kiskunsági National Park, located in the Danube River's former floodplain and what is the second-largest saline steppe of the Hungarian Great Plain.
