Mangalitsa pancetta bacon from prime pork belly, traditionally dry-cured and cold-smoked for an intense smoky aroma, tender texture and rich meaty flavour.
This versatile and creamy bacon is spreadable at room temperature, perfect for adding flavour to sandwiches and toast. Slice thinly and place on top of roast meat to create a melting outer layer, infusing your dish with a delightfully smoky aroma. In the mouth the succulent slither coats the taste buds and the salty fatty juices impart the meaty smoky bacon luxuriously. This is a flavour that makes you close your eyes whilst eating - just delicious. It is obvious that the husbandry, butchering and curing process has been done with care and expertise. This bacon is authentic and full of the qualities that we expect from Mangalitza pork."
