A deep and complex nose with aromas of red cherry, red berries and a hint of liquorice root. This is a savoury cool-climate style with notes of ripe bramble and leafy black fruits complimented by oak, chocolate and sweet smoked spice. Soft, ripe tannins and fine acidity set this wine up perfectly for food pairing

A versatile red wine, it makes a perfect accompaniment for steaks, grilled meats and vegetables. For an authentic pairing, try with traditional Hungarian dishes like goulash soup or a rich stew of paprika potatoes or a Baracskai semi-hard cheese.
