A rich nose is followed by a vibrant cavalcade of fruit on the palate. A core of dark fruit, including sour cherry and blackcurrant, is complemented by tertiary aromas of tobacco, black pepper, and barrel spices. Complex and refined with endless layers and depth, the sip culminates in a long mineral finish.
Food Pairing
A mouth-filling red, it makes the perfect pairing for steaks and grills. Alternatively, try it with a rich mushroom dish, goulash soup, beef stew or lecso. Serve it with soft cheese for a moment of gastronomic bliss.
