What is Pick Salami?
It is a classical Hungarian salami and a national culinary icon, made by Pick Szeged since its introduction in 1883. Premium-quality lean meat is combined with pork belly and a secret spice blend that includes fresh garlic and white pepper to create this special winter salami.
The charcuterie is expertly cured, smoked over fragrant beechwood and dry-aged, during which time a layer of noble mould forms on the outside, giving it its characteristic and easily recognisable appearance.
The masterful crafting, perfected by over a century of experience and know-how, creates a flavourful salami with a distinct smoky aroma and an intense, complex taste.
Its unique qualities have been internationally recognised, and Pick téliszalámi is a PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) certified product.
