Deep gold colour and a complex, intense nose packed with honey, flowers and rich spiced fruit. Creamy mouthfeel balanced by gentle yet stable acidity.
At 10 years of age this wine is still showing lots of youthful freshness. Apricot jam and orange peel, honey and sweet spices on the palate. Beautifully made, complex wine with a long dried fruit and floral finish. Perfect to drink now or lay down for as long as you can resist the temptation.
Food Pairing
Try as an accompaniment to Asian fusion dishes, air-dried ham and of course desserts. It goes very well with blue cheese including Gorgonzola, Stilton and Roquefort, as well as charcuterie.
