Tokaji Essencia is a sweet wine speciality made from the free-run juice of botrytised berries. Nectar of unparalleled complexity, a true gem for wine lovers.

An intense and concentrated flavour with an explosion of luscious tropical fruit and beguiling honeyed notes. It has a creamy, mouth-filling character, while the racy acidity keeps this a perfectly balanced, finely poised vintage. Eszencia is renowned as the best portrayer of terroir, and there is a rich minerality to every sip, indicative of the volcanic soil, while the finish will stay with you for well over a minute. The wine is still very young and will continue to develop as long as you can resist drinking it.

Serve this unique wine with a deep, salty blue cheese, luxurious goose liver or cured mangalitza ham and create a very special moment of gourmet indulgence. It also goes perfectly with cakes and chocolate muffins.

The Tokajicum Winery is based in the historical region of Tokaj, known as one of the most complex wine-producing areas in the world. The winery cultivates grapes over 20 hectares of prime land, working with 40 years or older vines, bringing alive the minerality of the volcanic terroir in every bottle.
