An organic Pet Nat rosé sparkling wine from Blaufränkisch grapes, this is a sophisticated and elegant Pétillant Naturel created using the ancestral method.
A light, raspberry-red colour with a refreshing foam. The nose is exciting with red berries, strawberry, sour cherry and candied raspberry rounded out by vivid yeast aromas for an exhilarating experience. Light and airy texture, as each lively sip is made even more enjoyable by the small pearly bubbles. The intense fruity palate is accompanied by an excellent acidity and a soft texture with natural carbonation, creating a harmonic drink.
Food Pairing
The vibrant acidity of the grape variety makes this the perfect accompaniment to hearty dishes like steaks, sausages and meatloaf, or enjoy it with a spicy tomato pasta dish or a pizza heavily laden with toppings.

Meet the Winemaker
Steigler Winery, Sopron - Protected Designation of Origin (PDO)
The Steigler Winery is based in downtown Sopron, located in the northeast corner of Hungary. This tradition goes back hundreds of years when townsfolk would dig their cellars under their own houses to protect what they thought of as their most ‘valuable treasure’, their wine. The family-owned Estate renovated a cellar system, which they use for barrel ageing a range of organically cultivated wines. Though the wine region is located at the northernmost border of viticulture, nearby Lake Fertő creates a unique micro-climate. This large body of water tempers winter cold and eases the summer heat. When combined with a unique terroir of mica schist, limestone and humus-rich forest soil, you can be sure to taste the distinct Sopron character in each bottle of Steigler.
