What is it?
Our classic black caviar comes from the Siberian sturgeon (Acipenser baerii) and features medium-sized grains (2.8-3.0 mm) with a shiny roe surface.
It is prepared in a Malossol fashion, using just the right amount of sea salt to maintain the flawless structure of the delicate fish eggs.

How is it made?
Danubius Caviar was launched by a Hungarian fishing cooperative that began repopulating sturgeon and sterlet in the Danube River in the 1990s, where both species are indigenous. Their expansion into caviar production is based on over 65 years of tradition and expertise. They employ the latest environmentally friendly technologies to ethically produce the highest quality caviar possible.
The fish are kept in large outdoor pools filled with fresh spring water, which is heated and cooled using green energy. Due to our close relationship, we receive an annual allocation of their finest produce, ensuring that you taste nothing but the best.
Shipment & Storage
We take great care to ensure that your caviar arrives in perfect condition. After you place your order, we will contact you to agree on a delivery date. Your caviar will be freshly packed between ice sheets and shipped overnight in a chilled box.
As caviar is a delicate product, its quality can be compromised by improper handling and storage. We recommend keeping it in the coldest part of your refrigerator at a temperature just above 0°C but not below it.
Unopened, it will last up to 3 weeks when refrigerated. Once opened, for the best experience, consume it within 48 hours. Be sure to place the lid back on between servings to minimize exposure to air.
