What Is Propolis Tincture?

Propolis is a naturally resinous material that bees make from plant resins and use within the hive. Our beekeeper collects it directly from the hive using a propolis grid, a careful method that helps produce clean raw propolis with minimal impurities.

The propolis is dissolved in alcohol to create a 50% liquid extract in an easy-to-use dropper bottle. Its light amber colour is a natural characteristic of the carefully collected propolis and does not indicate a weaker extract.

Made with just raw propolis and alcohol, this tincture is unpasteurised, natural, non-GMO and suitable for vegetarians.

How to Use Propolis Tincture

Where Does It Come From?

Our propolis tincture comes from Váraljai’s Honey Farm, a family-run apiary near Ásotthalom on the southern Great Hungarian Plain. Beekeeper László Váraljai keeps his own hives and collects propolis alongside his carefully produced honey and bee products.

Monika visits the farm annually and remains in regular contact with László. She selected this propolis tincture for its simple ingredients, careful harvesting method and clear provenance from hive to bottle.
