Typical Furmint nose, with fresh aromas of green fruits, especially green apples, wet stones and a touch of lemon. The apple notes reverberate across the medium-long sip, and they are rounded out by lively citrus fruits and a flinty minerality. This is a finely poised vintage with crisp acidity, making for a rewarding food pairing.
Furmint's acidity makes it a great accompaniment to poultry, seafood and risotto. It also goes well with hard cheese like an aromatic herb cheese, or serve it alongside a charcuterie board.
