Gróf Degenfeld Winery, Tokaj - Protected Designation of Origin (PDO)
In 1994 the Count Degenfeld family successfully revived its wine estate in the heart of the Tokaj wine region, ensuring that the over 150-year-old tradition lives on with the latest generation. Winemaking was always closely intertwined with the family’s deep love and respect for nature, therefore since 2009, they cultivate their vineyards organically. The family only work with native grapes best suited to the unique micro-climate, create a range of single varietal wines with award-winning credentials. The bunches are hand-harvested and carefully vinified with minimal intervention. As a result, with every sip you take, you are tasting an authentic drop of the volcanic Tokaj terroir.
