Tasting Notes

A light pink-salmon coloured dry rosé wine, this is a rich and complex choice with an intense mineral touch. An aroma of fresh strawberry is accompanied by raspberry and red fruit on the palate. The intense minerality comes through on the finish, making this an elegant and refined rosé not just for warm summer evenings.

Food Pairing Recommendation

It goes very well with Caesar salad, Salad Nicoise and light entrées, as well as ratatouille.

Serving temperature: 12°C

About the Winemaker

The Dobosi family started to cultivate grape vines in 1721 and with the tradition of wine making passed from father to son, you can taste the 300 years of expertise. The family works 26.5 hectares in the picturesque Nivegy Valley, just north of Lake Balaton and selectively hand-harvests the ripe fruit. All of their grapes are grown organically, using all-natural methods which are in perfect harmony with nature. By cultivating native grape varieties which are uniquely suited to the special soil and microclimate, they have captured the essence of the sunny Balaton Uplands in every bottle.
