What is Radler?

"Radler" translates to "cyclist" in German. According to legend, the original recipe was created by an innkeeper who was running low on beer and wanted to keep a group of thirsty cyclists satisfied. To solve this problem, he mixed in the leftover lemon soda he had on hand.

Regardless of its origins, Radler, like other shandies, offers a lower-alcohol alternative to regular beer while providing an invigorating citrus touch.
