Directions
In a bowl, crumble the butter by hand into the flour and baking powder. Add the sugar, vanillin sugar, and eggs, knead well and leave it wrapped in foil in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
During this time, peel the apple, grate it, squeeze the lemon juice over it, and season it with sugar, cinnamon and grated lemon peel.
Divide the dough into two parts (1/3-2/3 ratio) and roll it out on a floured board to a 3-4 mm thickness.
Place the larger dough sheet on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with the ground walnuts, spread the apple filling evenly over it, and cover with the other sheet.
Brush the top of the apple pie with the beaten egg and prick it gently with a fork, which will allow the steam out while it cooks.
Finally, bake in the oven preheated to 190 degrees for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
