The Vesztergombi family looks back on a centuries-old tradition of winemaking in the region around Szekszárd in southern Hungary, where the River Danube meanders between rolling hills and fertile valleys. Its first Bikavér (Bull's Blood) was released in 1993, the year when founder Ferenc Vesztergombi was awarded the prestigious “Winemaker of the Year” title in Hungary.
