A complex aroma of intense forest fruits complemented by notes of marzipan and rounded out by a hint of dry forest floor. A medium-bodied red wine with a refined texture of well-balanced acidity and soft, pampering tannins. A mouth-watering array of rich marzipan, fragrant cloves, dark cherry and fresh forest fruits on the palate, culminating in a long finish. It is already a beautiful vintage but will only get better with time.

The wines acidity makes it the perfect drink to go alongside heavier, heartier dishes like steak, sausages and BBQ meats. It also cuts beautifully through spicier dishes, making it the ideal pairing for hot Asian curries like a vindaloo or even Sichuan chicken.
