This vineyard-selection Kékfrankos is a medium-bodied dry red wine with a lively, bright ruby colour. An attractive, youthful wine showcasing the best of the unique Eger terroir. Elegant toasty and herbaceous notes on the nose, as well as vanilla spice and fresh red fruit. The palate is dominated by sour cherry and black peppers. Vibrating acidity and gentle tannins make this a harmonious and elegant wine. A long finish of sour cherries and blueberries, complemented by a hint of star anise.

The wine's acidity makes it ideal as an accompaniment to heavy, hearty dishes such as steaks and sausages, or your Sunday roast. It also cuts beautifully through spicy dishes, making it a great pairing for hot Asian curries such as a vindaloo, or even for Sichuan chicken.
