Beautiful, pale ruby colour and perfumed nose with slowly developing aromas of berries and fresh sour cherries. Fairly low in alcohol and light on the palate, but with a firm structure and delicate acidity. A finish of red fruits, accompanied by the zesty flavour of fresh Kadarka grapes. A gentle and restrained wine with lots of freshness.

Food Pairing

Goes very well with pork dishes, such as a tenderloin with shiitake mushrooms, while the grape's natural freshness perfectly complements rich Asian dishes like Bombay potatoes, as well as the aromatic smokiness of paprika in Hungarian classics like Paprikash chicken. Serve alongside semi-hard cheeses including Cheddar and Red Leicester.
