Traditional method sparkling wine from Tokaj, made, from Furmint, the signature grape of the region. Fresh, clean, youthful nose of pears and a hint of yeast. The palate is undeniably Tokaj - fruitier and more mineral-rich than a classic Champagne. Intense, crisp acidity balanced out by creamy, buttery notes from lees ageing. Some residual sugar gives a fuller mouthfeel, but the finish is marked again by mineral notes and citrusy acidity. A crisp and refreshing wine.
Food Pairing
Perfect to enjoy on its own, or serve with a smoked fish, oysters, or a creamy mushroom dish. Also great with sponge cakes and other light desserts.
