A blend of three native varieties, this méthode traditionelle sparkling wine from Tokaj beautifully expresses the characteristics of the volcanic terroir. The fruitiness of the Hárslevelű and Sárgamuskotály grapes is perfectly complemented by the tight acidity of Furmint, and is rounded out by notes from bottle fermentation and ageing.
Straw colour, fine but persistent mousse. Toasty aromas and gentle floral, herbal notes on a restrained, elegant nose. Palate is dominated by a mineral, pebbly and flinty character, with toasty, buttery notes from lees-ageing. Nicely integrated acidity, lively structure. Long mineral finish. A very attractive wine that's easy-drinking but reflects serious winemaking.
Food-pairing recommendation: Try with fresh, creamy cheese or seafood. It is our recommended accompaniment to our Great Taste Award-winning Siberian Sturgeon Caviar for a truly divine pairing.
