The Etyek region shares many similarities with Champagne's climate and soil characteristics. Realising the tremendous potential in their vineyards, the region's winemakers embarked on an exciting journey in 2017 when they decided to use grapes varieties best suited to making sparkling wine to establish their very own style. Years of hard work and refinement will culminate in creating a new PDO of Etyek Sparkling from 2023 onward, providing a powerful new challenger to the established names.
This Etyek Brut is a traditional method sparkling wine made with an equal proportion of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc. The refreshing nose of apples and pears brings the minerality of the chalk terroir alive. Delicate notes of biscuits, croissant, and brioche on the palette, with an indulgent butteriness from the 24 months of bottle ageing. Creamy sparkles and long-lasting bubbles characterise this elegant drink.
