Bikavér or Bull's Blood in English, is a famous Hungarian red wine cuvée exclusive to the Eger and Szekszárd regions. It can only be made by adhering to strict guidelines, yet this traditional terroir wine serves as the ruby red signature of each winemaker, living up to its legendary name. At least three local grape varieties are combined into a perfectly harmonious blend, creating a rich and fruity masterpiece with a tantalisingly complex mineral structure that only the best Bull's Blood can provide.

A medium-bodied red wine cuvée with a magical, deep ruby red colour and a velvety fruity aroma. A delicate fragrance of cherry, plum and dark chocolate, with the addition of roasted notes, cloves and eastern spices on the palate. It finishes with a really long, elegant and silky-smooth aftertaste. This is a captivating and dignified vintage that will only get better with time, but it is special already.

The family-owned Gál Tibor winery is located in the picturesque wine region of Eger. They are dedicated is to create memorable wines which reflect the characteristics of this special area and showcase its unique terroir. As a result, they only cultivate grape varieties which are perfectly suited to the micro-climate of Eger, allowing the award-winner winemakers to create liquid works of art which represent the best of Hungarian wine.
